**UPDATE** Everyone's generosity has greatly touched Sarah's family and friends in England, Indonesia, Singapore and the United States. Today I sent the first round of donation money to Ajeng, Sarah's cousin who she launched the library with, in the sum of $3,870.98 which is over $63,500,000 Indonesian rupiah. My name is Nick and I am raising money to support my friend Sarah's library in Indonesia. Sarah tragically passed away on July 9th at the age of 26 with limitless potential. She was a burgeoning scholar in Comparative Literature pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Southern California. Previously, she completed a master's at the University of Kentucky, and a bachelor's at Queen Mary University of London.

Last summer, during a research trip to Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia, she launched a library in her home village where her family still resides. Sarah was interested in studying women's revolutionary literature and was committed to increasing literacy in Indonesia in order to, in some small way, inspire the next generation of Indonesian writers.

This GoFundMe will support this project of hers on behalf of her family, and in particular her mother Irma.
