Sarah's journey to Wellness

Hi, my name is Lisa, and I am fundraising for Sarah Gilbert. Sarah is a dear friend as well as a colleague of mine.

Sarah was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer with lesions on her spine and ribs in June 2022. These lesions are a type of blood and bone cancer called multiple myeloma.

Sarah is on an extraordinary journey of Hope and Healing. In navigating this new reality, Sarah will be off work to receive treatment away from her husband and precious three children. Ranging in age from 6, 3 and 2. She is required to stay in an apartment for 40 days, with a caregiver to be close to the center, in the event of an emergency.

This indeed will be a difficult time for her family and friends.
