This fundraiser has been created for a woman who can only be described as an absolute powerhouse.

Sarah is an incredible mum, daughter, sister, friend, and dedicated police officer who has spent her life protecting and helping others — now it’s time for us to help her.

Sarah’s battle began in 2016, while she was pregnant with her youngest daughter. What started as a small mole on her back led to a devastating diagnosis of melanoma. Since then, she has endured multiple surgeries and a range of treatments, many with harsh and exhausting side effects. Despite facing three recurrences over the years, Sarah has continued to meet each challenge with her trademark positivity, strength, and courage.

Recently, Sarah received heartbreaking news: the cancer has spread to her pancreas, placing her at stage 4. She has undergone numerous sessions of radiotherapy in hopes of shrinking the tumour, but sadly, this hasn’t brought the results she had wished for. There was a glimmer of hope when doctors offered her a major operation — the Whipple’s procedure — and Sarah prepared herself physically and mentally for this life-changing surgery.

However, just days before the operation, she was told that the cancer had spread further to her right hip, meaning surgery was no longer possible. Her NHS team has offered one final treatment option, but it carries severe side effects and has a low success rate.

Sarah is now seeking a second opinion and exploring private treatment options that could offer new hope. These come with significant costs, especially as she has had to take considerable time off from the job she loves.
