Friends, family and strangers, this isn't easy.
My sister is losing her home to foreclosure on July 24.
To those that know her, that have sat at her table, she is a minister in times of trouble. But, these circumstances have brought her to her knees. She needs our help.
Presently, Sarah is employed assisting the deaf and blind. She is in transition from married, stay-at-home mom of 7 (2 are in college) to single, working mom who has lost all spousal support. She is re-inventing in the midst of loss and crisis.
Still, Sarah is in a position that requires help. Her primary vocation for the last 20 years, Motherhood, has left her with little financial defense for an unknown debt this large.
There is little time to save, beg and borrow. The loss of this family's home threatens to devastate an already fragile situation and remove these children from familiar refuge.
To support this family, to either save their home or help secure another, I am hoping to gather a village of magical thinkers who believe in grace, mercy, and the profound gift of resurrection.
