Sarah's Heart Transplant Donation Fund

Hey all! So the time has come that unfortunately I am at the point of needing a heart transplant. I am waiting as an inpatient at Vanderbilt due to the need for constant IV medications keeping me healthy for the time being. My mama heart is breaking being away from my boys for such an unknown amount of time. Thankfully, we live in such a central location to Nashville that they can visit quite often!

That all being said, this kills me as I hate taking handouts, but the financial aspect of all of this is hitting us very hard and will only continue to get worse. I have been out of work since July and am now in the long-term disability limbo and won't get paid for an undetermined amount of time. Steve has been working his butt off to keep paychecks coming in, but he will be needing to take time off for my surgery as well as during my recovery and rehab time to give my mom a break as well since she will be my primary caretaker through all of this. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of co-pays, numerous medications, gas, meals, and other expenses that may come up. Anything is sooo appreciated, even if it is just a share. Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts (even though mine's a little broken) for all the prayers, texts, calls, and messages. We love our support system near and far!
