Mission Trip to Honduras

I am going back to Honduras! This time my husband gets to go with me, so it is sure to be extra special. 

My seminary class is going to Honduras once again in January. The cost of the trip is about $1,800. 

We will be working on housing projects in a remote area outside of Copan during our ten day stay. Honduras is the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and we will be staying with some of the poorest communities in the country. 

The money we raise will go toward not only our trip but sustainable building supplies, gifts for the women of the community, and toys and school supplies for the children. 

Honduras has been close to my heart since January 2014, when we first took a trip there. I fell in love with the people and the countryside immediately. My husband and I both hope that we can spend some of our time in ministry doing mission work in Honduras, since there is only one Lutheran pastor in Honduras.
