International Missions Trip 2015-Thailand
-Evangelism, leading worship services & outreach
-Offering child care, visiting orphanages & safe houses

-Visiting the hill tribes who have escaped persecution
-Preventative human traffiking ministry & raising awareness
-Sharing testimonies & love of Jesus with children & adults

MY JOURNEY
It's back to Thailand for me! Last year as I created photo and video for Shining Light Church, it's childrens homes and Inspire Church, I fell in love with the people and culture of Thailand. I cannot wait to return to the place where I felt I have truly been called to serve, where I have left a huge piece of my heart. There is still alot left to be done in this city. This years mission is a little different than last, with a focus on providing assistance at health clinics, orphanages, safe houses, etc., repairs in the church/school/orphanges as needed and creating photo and video for the programs needs.
To see just a small piece of what we did last year, check out the promo video for Shining Light Church and photo gallery. We created 3 videos and a photo gallery for use by Shining Light Church in Chiang Mai as well as Inspire Church Hawai'i to showcase their missions, childrens homes, schools, outreach programs, and worship services. The video and images are used to show what is being done in Thailand, help to raise awareness, spread the message, and lastly to raise funds to continue with the growth of their ministry.
I am passionate about spreading God's Word to internationally, specifically underserved populations of the world and working to prevent human traffiking, so Thailand offers me the opportunity to combine both- by spreading hope, grace, and the forgiveness of Jesus. I will meet men, women & children of all ages and learn about their lives, so every day will be an opportunity for conversations and relationships to form. This will allow me to show them how beautiful they are and a new way to live, by being a light in the darkness. I am open to whatever roles I can serve, and I plan to use my photography experience to document the mission for the group, to capture the beauty of the Thai people and to raise awareness.
Oh! Plus, my sister (who lives in Hawai'i and attends Inspire Church) will also be apart of the team. What a great reunion! The mission trip will take place November 2015.

DETAILS
The trip pledge covers all expenses:
$1800 (round trip airfare from VA to Thailand)
$1000 (Hotel, transportation, meals, travel insurance)
$ 200 (medical supplies & projects for the children at the orphanages)
