I have been accepted to OperaMaya's Young Artist Program! I will be performing my favorite scene as Adele from Die Fledermaus. To be accepted to this program at my age is a huge honor. I will be working with world class faculty and my experience will culminate in a Gala where I will perform scenes from Strauss' Die Fledermaus. OperaMaya is located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I would appreciate any and all help making this dream come true! All donors will receive my undying gratitude for helping me begin my journey.
A little bit about me, in case you don't know me. I will graduate from high school at the end of this month. I will begin my college career at Texas Tech University. I have been studying voice since I was 9 years old, and studying with voice professors at Texas Tech since I was 12. I have performed in over 25 musicals and 5 operas. My love affair with music began when I was a toddler. I am hearing impaired, but I could always hear music. Music has been my way of communicating with the world. This year has been full for me and I hope it is only the beginning! As long as I can sing, I am happy.
