Help a Writer Live Her Dream Job

Eight years ago, my best friend and I self-published a book.
It was a fun learning experience, but I still had a lot to learn.
Five years ago I attended UofN's School of Writing, and it changed my life and my writing.
Now I'm a staff with the SOW. I take part in grading, leading critique groups, a variety of administrative details, and even some teaching! I love watching our students expand their skills. I've even had time to reboot my novel, and am closing in on the end of my big rewrite.
And guess what? I have the opportunity to staff the SOW internship next semester! This would mean I'd keep walking with students as they tell their stories and apply what they've learned. I'd also be able to work on my novel and get it several steps closer to submitting to a publisher.
However, I need your help.
The University of Nations - an affiliate of YWAM - operates solely on volunteers. None of us get paid. This keeps the hands-on training accessible to students from all over the globe (in our class alone we have students from six countries!). As a staff, I have to pay for my housing, food, health insurance, and home expenses out of pocket.
That means this is a labor of love for all of us staff. I'm working with this school because I truly want to, even without the incentive of a paycheck. I believe in our work and our students!
So with that in mind, I'd like to ask you to consider helping me stay this next semester. I know there's a lot of things pulling for our money and attention, but I would be so grateful if you would contribute any amount. We aren't just hanging out talking about books. We're a group of people passionate about life-changing stories, learning the practical tools to put quality content out into the world.
I have until Christmas Day to reach my goal. If I don't reach it, I'll go home (and you get refunded). If I reach my goal, I'll probably cry from happiness, and of course stay another semester!
