Sarah Wylie Fire Fund

Two weeks ago Sarah Wylie suffered a fire started from faulty wiring in her apartment. Luckily she was not home at the time, but suffered a total loss. All her belongings, including clothes, valuables, electronics, appliances and furniture were destroyed.

She’s not been able to get much money from her renter’s insurance and doesn’t have the funds to take legal recourse at this time. Her family is in Virginia and she’s here on her own. It’s a terrible situation, and even harder to go through alone.

She has a place to stay for the moment, a few articles of clothing and some toiletries. But any donation to help her get back on her feet would be deeply appreciated.
