Dear friends, I'm reaching out to share about Sarah Updegraff Murray, my sister-in-law, who recently suffered a life-altering accident. Three weeks ago, Sarah fell and broke her neck, leaving her paralyzed from the chest down. She's currently at Gundersen Medical Center, working towards breathing on her own. Once she achieves this, she can start rehab at Shirley Ryan Rehab in Chicago. Sarah, a dedicated school superintendent, and her husband Steve, have an eleven-year-old son, Westen at home. This accident has not only cut short Sarah's career but also put a significant financial strain on their family.
