Hello, as some of you may know, my sister, Sarah Trostel was diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer (head and neck) on December 14th, 2023.
A little about Sarah.....
she an amazing sister, my best friend and favorite person. She is a mother (4 children, Isaiah, Skilar, Jaxson and Jameson) a daughter, granddaughter, aunt and cousin. She worked at BiglervilleHS as an emotional support assistant and hosses as a waitress.
She has had many battles throughout life but has overcome all with even more courage and strength. She is a fighter.
The treatment regimen is chemotherapy for 8 weeks along with radiation.
Her first round of Chemo started January 9th and it's been quite a rocky road. She's had a lot of sickness, weight loss and increased fatigue. She has been given direction to initiate use of her feeding tube.
We are anticipating, another 8 weeks of no work for Sarah. She will have many hospital bills and home expenses.
