Anyone who knows Sarah or her family knows that Sarah is a once-in-a-lifetime friend. Her family means everything to her, and so do her friends. She would drop everything to make sure you felt loved and seen. Sarah is the friend that could make you laugh until you cry, but also the friend that got to know you deeply. Sarah is the friend you could always count on to be there for you with no judgment or questions. Sarah's daughter, Amelia, and her husband, Mario, have a mountain nobody should have to climb. Amelia is just ten years old, with her adolescence ahead of her. It's our turn, as their village, to pay it forward. If you've ever had the chance to spend even a day with this family, you know that they give their hearts to all. We are the lucky ones to know them. If you haven't ever met them, may you provide knowing that this little girl will grow up and change the world. She had the most beautiful example of courage, strength, love and spirit in her mom.

Nothing is too big or small - it all adds up to help this precious family. We are currently trying to build a fund for Amelia as she grows older. Let this be a reminder to say "I love you" and never take today for granted.

Sarah fought so valiantly against cancer, all the while making sure her family and friends were doing good. That’s the thing about Sarah. She always put others first. Let’s remember her by giving toward her family that now needs our help.
