But the gist is that Sarah has been diagnosed with Stage 4 gum cancer. We believe it can be treated and her overall prognosis is good. But she does have quite a journey ahead. And the timing of this is horrible. Being the first of the year she has to meet her deductible all at once before insurance will pay. Those bills have already started to come in and the financial burden is added stress she simply does not need. She and Kelly also have day-to-day expenses that will be a straing as they will lose Sarah's income while she is on leave. If you can find it in your heart to help with ANY amount, it will truly remove that burden from her allowing her focus on recovery and healing.
