Support Sarah Shank's family.

Hi, my name is Amy Van Der Slik and I am raising funds for Sarah Shanks family. Sarah is a mother, sister, daughter, cousin, niece, and friend to so many. Sarah was unexpectantly admitted to the hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, and as of 01/24/2023, the family has decided to not continue life-saving treatment. Sarah was admitted to the hospital after having difficulty breathing. She has never woken up. Doctors report that Sarah will never have her functions back after her brain was without oxygen for too long.

Sarah has resided and raised her family in the Knoxville, Tennessee area for many years, while her extended family resides in Michigan.

Sarah's family has decided to help her live on in others by donating her organs. She is a hero in tragedy.

Please assist the family in donating to help them with travel expenses as well as memorial/funeral expenses. These donations may also be used for other expenses that may arise.

These donations will be used for the Clawson family to organize a “Celebration of a life,” service in Michigan. Travel expenses for the family to and from Tennessee and for whatever else may arise. If you are looking to donate directly to Sarah’s celebration of life in Tennessee and/or directly to Ryan, Eli, and Robin, they have set up their own fund.
