Nick's Story,  Here is how you can Help.

Nick is a young man full of life. He is an avid mountain biker and outdoor enthusiast. He has a wife, Sara, two awesome pups, and two cats. Nick is also surrounded by the best family and friends anyone could have. Nick is the kind of person that never meets a stranger. He lives his life to help others, and is the kindest man you will ever meet. He has a huge heart full of love, ambition and positivity. The world is better place because of Nick.

Nick is currently battling Stage IV Synovial Cell Sacrcoma Cancer. He has been battling this awful disease since the age of 24, and he is now just 29 years young. In 2011, shortly after getting married he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer.  As you can imagine, this news was heartbreaking for him and his family. He fought extremely hard for an enite year. Nick remained positive, strong and optimistic throughout his treatment. At the end of 2012 his cancer was gone and he was declared "no evidence of disease". Luckily, Nick was able to move on from his cancer diagnosis at that time, and look forward to his future. Nick had a routine scan in Marrch of 2015 that revealed his cancer was back, and this time it was Stage IV.

Nick started the recommended treatment plan right away.Since 2015, he has had too many chemotherapy regiments to count, along with several surgeries, and 2 months of radiation therapy.  Some of these treatments worked for a short time, but nothing has kept his cancer from continuing to grow.  Nick has been fighting a long, hard battle for almost 2 years now.  Even throughout this awful diagnosis, Nick has never given up.  His strength is apparent, and he amazes everyone with his positive attitude and will to live.  His story is an inspiration , and he deserves to beat this cancer once and for all.

Nick has recently had a rough time with a chemotherapy that left him hospitalized.  Once he recovers, he will be traveling to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. The best of the best for his cancer are at this center.  During Nick's time battling this cancer, he also lost his job and his health insurance. He has wonderful health insuance that was saving his life. In order to keep this insurance, and to ensure that coverage wouldn't be an issue Nick has to pay a Cobra premium for it.  He and his wife will also have bills associated with traveling to Texas, and possibly living out there while he gets treatment for several weeks.  They also have medical bills that have been piling up over the years.  As you can imagine, this is a horrible burden for this young family.
