Sarah "Sally" Mitchell

With heavy hearts, we share that our beautiful daughter and sister, Sarah "Sally," has passed from this world and is now in the loving embrace of Jesus. In lieu of flowers, we would prefer you join us in a donation to the Alaska SeaLife Center in her name.

She has always had a heart for animals and wildlife, which is how we want to honor her memory. Sarah dreamed of traveling to Alaska and working at the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward. She was able to make this a reality a few years ago, and her experiences guided her toward a vision of how she planned to spend her life and how she wanted to make an impact. Through this experience, she learned to care for rescued and injured Alaskan wildlife. These animals were transferred to the SeaLife Center to be rehabilitated and released back into nature. Being a part of that process brought her satisfaction and joy she had never previously found. She loved being part of a community that shared with her in this passion; because of wonderful people still working towards this mission at the SeaLife Center, we would cherish an opportunity for you to join us in our support of them. We believe it would fill Sarah's heart to know that we joined her in her passion to support God's most beautiful Alaskan wildlife.
