Sarah Rose Genari went missing April 26, 2018 from her family home in Warren County, Virginia. An immediate search ensued lasting 12 days involving 21 local, state & federal agencies. The local community & multiple social media contacts spread the word nationwide regarding Sarah's disappearance.
With law enforcement's dogged perseverance & the family's unwavering faith, many were confident Sarah would be found & safely returned to her home. Tragically, on May 8, 2018 remains were found & two days later confirmed to be those of Sarah Rose Genari. The investigation continues while an autopsy is performed to determine cause of death.
Sarah was an amazingly talented, artistic & intelligent young lady. She dedicated her time to helping others, excelling academically & pursuing her love of music through singing & teaching herself piano.
A 4.0 honors student, Sarah was recently selected for induction to Warren County High School's National Honor Society. She utilized her vocal skills to represent WCHS in District Chorus, the Maroon Melodies glee group & PAVAN regional Governor’s School for performing arts.

More recently Sarah delved into acting as a member of WCHS' Maroon Masques theater productions of "Cinderella" & "Anatomy of Gray." But her heart & spirit were most evident through her volunteer work for various entities & her love of competitive swimming. As an 11 year member of the Prince William Swim League's Dale City Frogs, she specialized in breaststroke & was a beloved mentor to younger swimmers.
No one expects to have to bury their child. As the Genari family grieves the loss of their beautiful daughter, our goal is to relieve the sudden financial burden associated with the cost of a funeral and to properly memorialize Sarah Rose Genari .
