Hi,
We’re a group of mums from the childcare centre which Sarah manages in Freshwater, NSW
Sarah is the heart of the centre, she is the most hard working, passionate, positive and accommodating person you could wish for to manage a centre for your little loves. She refers to the kids and educators as her family and they look up to her like mother hen.
After the heartache of pregnancy complications and loss, Sarah and Rob were successful with IVF and gave birth to their first bubba , beautiful Ella in October 2023.
Ella was diagnosed with a complex heart condition (Coronary Heart Disease) and required surgery at a few days old.
The surgery was complicated but successful, however it required baby Ella to be on a ventilator & dialysis to recover and was dependant on.
Sarah and her husband Rob (a local fireman) remained so strong and positive and were hopeful to take their beautiful sunshine home for Christmas.
Sarahs option of breastfeeding was taken away and cuddles with her little girl were few and far between with each new day often facing new challenges.
As time passed little Ella was growing stronger but her Kidneys were failing and she was diagnosed with kidney disease. The dream of taking her home was being pushed further away.
At 3months old, Ella was still on breathing tubes and machines to support her kidneys.
On 27th February 2024 Sarah and Rob said goodbye to their little sunshine.
Sarah and Rob have had the most unimaginable, gut wrenching start to parenthood.
We can’t begin to imagine what they are going through and wish we could ease the pain and suffering.
With extended parental leave to support their little angel it has no doubt put financial pressure on them.
Dedicating their lives to childcare and the fire service we want to give back as much support as we can.
We want to help relieve the financial burden so they can grieve in peace and take time to heal and build strength.
Please donate whatever you can.
Thank you
