Sarah Nasuna Serwadda Memorial
Donation protected
My name is Maureen Nayiga, a Ugandan-American citizen. I lost my mum and best friend, Sarah Nasuna Serwadda, on January 15, 2022 in Dallas, Texas due complications related to COVID-19.
Mom had a big heart, she was very kind and a friend to many. She was so full of life, keen to help others in need and was always ready to make others at ease. As a single mother she worked extremely hard to raise me and I'm forever grateful for this.
It is a sad moment for me that as I have just graduated from college, I have lost the most important person in my life.
Her last wish was to be taken back to her ancestral home in Uganda to be laid to rest beside her parents and sisters in Kyagwe, Uganda.
As her only child, I call upon friends, relatives and all well-wishers to join and support me, my uncle Edward Kamanje Mukasa (Houston, Texas) and auntie Ronah Serwadda (Kampala, Uganda) as we fulfil this wish.
Special thanks to my cousin Sheila Sekamanya for helping me organise this fundraiser.
