Sarah Miller Get the Medical Equipment She Desperately Needs
Donation protected
On October 2021, Sarah Miller, a vibrant and active 46-year-old woman, contracted COVID-19 while working at a Cranbrook elementary school. What was initially hoped to be a short-term illness turned into a life-altering experience. Sarah has since been diagnosed with Long Covid and several associated illnesses that have left her permanently disabled and in need of constant care for the foreseeable future. She can use her walker for very short distances but is now mostly confined to a wheelchair when leaving the house and requires 24/7 assistance to manage her daily tasks and maintain her health.
For the past two and a half years, Sarah has been waiting for the necessary medical equipment and support to help improve her quality of life. Unfortunately, due to overwhelming delays and bureaucratic red tape, Sarah has yet to receive the crucial support she needs. This has placed an enormous strain on her physical, emotional, and financial well-being, and the burden on her husband and their three teenage children has only grown heavier as they continue to provide her care.
Sarah’s condition is severe, and the medical equipment and support required is vital for her safety, comfort, and independence. It’s been a long, difficult journey for her, but with your help, we can ease some of the stress and provide Sarah with the tools she needs to live a more manageable life.
We are raising funds to cover the cost of critical medical equipment and services that Sarah has been waiting for. Your generous donation will go directly toward purchasing specialized devices, including a fitted wheelchair, medical equipment and supplies for the home, and other necessary equipment and services to support the care of Sarah's condition and improve her quality of life.
If you would like to donate directly, please use Sarah’s auto deposit email at [email redacted]. You can also contribute through this GoFundMe platform. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
Please keep Sarah in your thoughts and thank you for your support during this challenging time.
Together, we can help Sarah regain some of her independence and bring her hope.
