For Sarah – A Shining Star Whose Light Lives On

Hi, I’m Lee.

I’m writing this GoFundMe in memory of the love of my life, Sarah, who sadly passed away after 10 beautiful years together. She gave me more love, joy, and affection than I could have ever dreamed of. My heart will always be waiting for her to return. She was and always will be my eternal soul mate

Sarah was a shining star—so full of life, creativity, and passion. She burned so brightly, but sadly couldn’t overcome the struggle of living with bipolar disorder.

Sarah was an incredibly talented photographer and artist. She had an extraordinary eye and a unique voice. Her work captured people, fashion, and culture from the 1980s right through to today—festivals, catwalks, underground clubs, and so much more. Many of her photos were published in magazines like The Face, i-D, and other well-known fashion and music publications, especially during the vibrant 80s and 90s club scene.

But what many people don’t know is that Sarah kept most of her best work private. She held onto a huge archive of unseen photos, artwork, and a truly special clothing collection. It was her dream to put it all together into a book—part fashion, part photography, part art—something timeless that told her story through her work.

I want to make that dream a reality. I want to celebrate Sarah’s life, her talent, and her unique vision with the world—just as she always wanted.
