Sarah Houser Funeral Support

Hello, my name is Kasey Houser. I’m setting this page up for my sweet father-in-law. He never asks for any help, but he usually is the first one to offer help to others. His world changed about a week and a half ago when his sweet wife, Sarah, was walking towards a door. She tripped and fell, hitting her head pretty hard, causing her to be paralyzed from the neck down.

Luckily, she did not break her neck but needed surgery to repair much damage. Her prognosis was good, and soon she would be going to a rehabilitation center for her aftercare. Late Saturday night, she aspirated and needed to go back to ICU. She contracted pneumonia. Doctors gave her medicine, and she continued to get better, bossing her sweet husband and family to rub her neck.

Yesterday afternoon, things went from good to worse. Sarah had a cardiac arrest. It was the worst feeling in the world, as you can imagine.

During this stressful time for my sweet father-in-law, I'm asking for help. They are both retired and are on a limited income. The medical bills and aftercare are things he continues to worry about. On June 12, 2025, Sarah took her last Earthly breath. She faught hard, but her body was tired. She is no longer in pain. She is reunited with two of her sons, granddaughter, her parents, and other loved ones. Thank you for your support during this difficult time.
