Sarah Hindman's Heart Transplant

On May 22, 2018, Sarah underwent her second heart transplant surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Although she and her family live in Post Falls, Idaho, she has to stay close to the hospital for several months so she can be monitored. She cannot be alone during this time and must be driven to the hospital almost daily for follow-up treatment. After that she will need monthly visits to Cedars-Sinai for a year.
Sarah needs funds now and on-going to cover medical expenses, prescriptions, transportation, living expenses and care giver expenses while she stays near the hospital. All donations will go directly to her care.
Sarah has a husband and two small children at home in Post Falls and a grown daughter with two grandchildren. At age 17 the treatment for Leukemia damaged Sarah's heart causing her to need her first transplant 24 years ago. We are all looking forward to when she can be reunited with her family.
