Sarah Chudzik’s fight against melanoma

Friends and family, we are here to provide an update and once again ask for the generosity of Sarah’s amazing network of loved ones…

Sarah and Mike have given us their blessing to revitalize this amazing GoFundMe as financially, things have gotten understandably overwhelming. As you may be aware, Sarah continues in monthly Immunotherapy treatments in addition to the regular follow up visits with her oncologist and palliative care doctor. The team is working to manage pain and maintain a remission status. Sarah is currently being scanned every 3 months to allow for close monitoring of potential growth or metastasis. It’s hard to believe this amazing woman has been aggressively fighting cancer for 15 months! We maintain our hope that scans will soon be clean and clear, and that she will move into full remission and slowly regain some level of normalcy.

As I’m sure you can imagine, almost two years of meeting (and then exceeding) medical and prescription deductibles has put a significant financial burden on this incredible family. In addition to the cancer treatments, Sarah has had multiple hospital stays that have subsequently forced Mike out of work to care for their three children.

Last year, we found ourselves with an outpouring of love and support for the Chudziks. As the family enters into the second year of a significant cancer battle, we are looking to brighten their spirits, show them their fierce network of love and support, and take just a little of the financial worry off their plate.
