HELLO! Our names are Carly Myers and Brittany Carey and we are starting this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friend Sarah Blackler.

As many people know, Sarah had a horrible workplace accident in October involving a bad ladder, roof and fall. Sarah fractured her spine and skull. While she was in the ER she suffered multiple seizures as well, so she can no longer drive or work until she is cleared medically.

Although Sarah is currently in receipt of WSIB, having head trauma myself, I know how hard it can be. There are many unforseen costs associated with recovery. Even just to get Sarah a little something to make her more comfortable or aid in her return to work.

Unforseen costs include things like doctors notes, cab rides, upfront costs of chiropractic care and massage therapists. Helpful items include food gift cards (delivery), new robe and slippers, or even a spa day or a new tool for work when Sarah returns.

Sarah is such a kind and generous person and did not deserve this horrible misfortune. I also know that if someone else was in a similar accident, she would do anything she could to help any one of her friends!
