Sarah & François in Nepal 2023

Hello friends,

Chers ami.e.s,

We have happily decided to go to Nepal and attend the retreats taught by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche at Rigon Tashi Choling monastery. Although it is quite a bit beyond our means, we are trusting the auspiciousness of the situation and taking the leap!

Nous avons décidé d'aller au Népal pour participer aux retraites enseignées par le Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche au monastère de Rigon Tashi Choling. Bien que ce soit un peu au dessus de nos moyens, nous sautons le pas joyeusement!

We are both in a career change time and we believe this trip is one of the best things we can do as we are entering our new life.

Nous sommes tous les deux à un tournant professionel et nous pensons que ce voyage est un très bonne idée pour commencer notre nouvelle vie.

We will both go on retreat with our teacher Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Sarah will do the mahayana retreat. François will do both retreats and attend the enthronement of Jetsün Drukmo, the daughter of the Sakyong, who will one day succeed him.

Nous sommes tous les deux étudiants du Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Sarah suivra la retraite mahayana. François suivra les deux retraites (mahayana et vajrayana) et assistera à la cérémonie d'intronisation de Jetsün Drukmo, la fille du Sakyong, qui lui succèdera un jour.

As a service to the sangha, François is offering to organize and provide french translation during these retreats.

Comme service à la sangha, François organisera et offrira une traduction simultanée en langue française pendant les retraites.

Our budgetary needs / Nos besoins financiers :

Plane and train / Avion et train : 850 euros x 2 = 1700 euros

Three retreats / Trois retraites : 750 euros x 3 = 2250 euros
