Saracens Supporting Tonga

 

 

Myself, Billy, Manu and Kapeli are looking to help all of those back home who have been affected by the devastating tsunami in Tonga a fortnight ago.

 

On Saturday 15 January, at 5:10pm local time, the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai undersea volcano erupted which could be felt as far as away as New Zealand and Alaska.

 

So far, three people have been reported dead in Tonga. Since then they have found cars, roofs, houses lifted and smashed into the flattened coconut trees and everything covered in black dust and mud. Many houses still standing had all their contents destroyed.

 

We are hoping that this collection will make a big impact to those who really need the support at such a challenging time.

 

All funds raised will go to the Friends of Tonga Charity, who are supporting the disaster relief efforts.
