Near the end of September, Sara had a significant depressive spiral and attempted suicide. After about a week in the hospital, she is back at home and recovering well! However, she is now dealing with employment interruption and ongoing treatment, including therapy and medication.
We've had a lot of people asking how they can help, and the support we have received so far has been tremendous. However, it can be difficult to arrange practical in-person help from an entire community, so I wanted to open this additional avenue of assistance.
This fund will be used - as mentioned above - to help with things like ongoing mental health treatment costs, as well as day-to-day expenses, bills, rent, etc.
