Help Sara support Moroccans without shelter
Donation protected
My name is Sara Mouhyeddine, I live in Marrakesh, Morocco and am an educator and travel guide. In Morocco right now, families are struggling to survive. I am collecting donations to purchase supplies for those who urgently need them.
I worked in the U.S. at Reed College as an Arabic Language Scholar, and my friend from Reed, Ariella Zulch, is helping me collect donations.

Marrakesh is our city where we felt safe and strong, and welcomed people from around the world to experience our generosity, diversity, and history. We are shocked and unprepared to experience this earthquake, which is very rare for the region. We are a group of Marrakshi men and women who are coming together as a community to rally for aid and support those in need. As a group, we are purchasing supplies and helping displaced people find shelter.
We urgently need your support. Our first priority is to purchase sleeping bags and tents for the hundreds of thousands of people who have lost their homes and need shelter tonight.
Next, we will be purchasing and distributing non-perishable food, water, cooking fuel, kitchen supplies, wet wipes, and other hygiene products. We are Moroccan people helping Moroccan people from our heart because this is our city and our region, and for us we are helping our families, brothers, and sisters.
Hundreds of thousands of people are without access to food, water, or shelter.
Your kindness can help them make it through this dangerous time.
Please donate whatever you can, we greatly appreciate your generosity.
Very Best,
Sara Mouhyeddine & Ariella Zulch
