Hi friends! One of my very best friends is having to undergo cancer treatments again. She’s given me a sort of timeline of events to give all of you to know what’s been going on.

Cancer treatments:

Original breast cancer diagnosis 11/23/2017.

Bilateral mastectomy 01/19/2017.

12 chemo treatments 03/2017-07/2017.

33 radiation treatments (left chest) 09/2017-10/2017.

Cancer free from 11/2017-12/2020.

Stage 4 diagnosis 12/17/2020.

Chemo pill, Xeloda 04/2021-08/2021.

Hormone blocker injections, Faslodex 09/2021-01/2023.

5 radiation treatments (cervical spine) 06/2022.

Faslodex injections and Affinitor pill 11/2022-01/2023.

Chemotherapy infusion, Enhertu 02/2023-11/2023.

Sara is having to take a lot of time from work to travel and for treatments and some days she just doesn’t feel well. She’s been on short term disability and there’s not a timeframe of when or if she’ll be able to stop treatments and come back to work. With insurance coming out, and not receiving her full paycheck because she’s on short term disability, things are definitely tough.
