Rivka Housing and Camp

Hi All

Over the past few months I have gotten to know an adorable 14 year old girl with Down Syndrome. For privacy purposes let’s call her Rivka. Rivka has been living in family care since birth and has been living with her foster family for the past ten years. Since Rivka is in family care she is not eligible for services that many others receive, such as funding for camp. Rivka is on the verge of losing her placement with her foster family as she does not have the funds to go to camp, a requisite of her keeping her placement in Family Care.

Rivka is an extraordinary girl. She radiates pure happiness and joy. Her journey has led her to a loving foster family, providing her with the stability and care she so desperately needs. But now, without the financial means to participate in this camp, her placement is at risk.

Please help us raise money to help Rivka not only have the best summer but be able to keep her home as well.
