Sara Elizabeth Accident Recovery

Hi, as many of you know, my daughter Sara and her dog Remmy were hit head on by a distracted driver in April 12 in Peoria. Her new-to-her car was totalled, Remmy was miraculously unharmed, but Sara suffered a broken right foot along with some very colorful bruises. She cannot put weight on that foot until it is healed and ideally should keep it elevated.

The other driver was completely at fault, but unfortunately underinsured. We have hired an attorney to help her recover damages, but that will take quite some time.

In the meantime, she is unable to work at her job which requires her to be on her feet all day. While we pray that her medical expenses will eventually be fully covered, she still has living expenses that need to be covered. Therefore, I am asking for a little help from a lot of people. She and I HATE to ask for help, but she needs to focus on recovering. This accident could have been so much worse, and we are so grateful for all the blessings that have already come out of this.
