Dear Friends and Family,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of Sara, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, who is facing an incredibly tough time. On February 8, 2025, Sara suffered a TIA and was diagnosed with Microvascular Ischemia. Things quickly took a turn for the worse when, on February 23, 2025, she was rushed by ambulance to another hospital due to a life-threatening infection. Unfortunately, this infection led to an emergency, life-saving surgery that required the removal of multiple organs.
As of now, Sara is still in the ICU, fighting for her life. Her recovery will be long, and she will remain in the hospital for an extended period of time before moving on to rehab. Right now, her future is uncertain—especially as we do not know if she will ever regain the same quality of life she once had.
Sara has always been a strong, compassionate, and loving person who has touched the lives of so many around her. But now, she needs our help. The medical costs associated with her treatment, surgery, and ongoing care are mounting, and the burden is overwhelming. As a family, we are doing everything we can to support her, but we need your assistance to ensure she gets the care she deserves.
If you are able, we kindly ask for your help in raising funds to cover medical expenses, as well as the costs of her extended stay in the hospital and eventual rehabilitation. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact and help relieve some of the financial strain.
If you are unable to contribute financially, we completely understand. Your prayers, love, and support mean the world to us. Please consider sharing this message with others who might be willing to help. Together, we can give Sara the strength and resources she needs to fight and hopefully regain a sense of normalcy.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
The family of Sara Carter
