Hi everyone, I am starting this GoFundMe page on behalf of my best friend Stacie Aldrich and her family.

On Sunday, January 23, 2022, Stacie’s mother, Sara Aldrich, unexpectedly passed away. In 2018, Sara and her husband of 54 years, Vince, a.k.a. Pat, relocated to Central Florida, from Delaware, to be closer to their daughter, Stacie, due to ongoing medical issues for them both. After overcoming cancer and navigating her mother’s dementia, Stacie was able to finally get them happily together into Regents Park of Winter Park, where they have been for the last 2 years.

The cost of having both Sara and Vince in the same facility and in light of their varying medical needs has strained their finances over the last few years.

This fund is to help ease the financial burden on Stacie and her family while allowing them to honor Sara’s final wishes, to be flown home and laid to rest in her hometown in Missouri. As you can imagine the logistics and cost of transport from FL to MO is no small fee, hence the GoFundMe to help lessen the financial impact on a family already dealing with so much.
