Hello, I am Raneem Salama. I study human medicine at Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. There are two academic years left to finish my studies at the university.

The war began in Gaza while I was visiting my family, and until now I have not been able to leave Gaza and return to the Republic of Egypt to complete my studies. Since the start of the crazy war on Gaza, my life has taken a shape and path that I did not expect in my life. I found myself displaced with my family, moving from one place to another in search of safety. We live in constant tension, anxiety, and fear, and I cannot comprehend the idea that I may lose my life, my future, and my family. My family, consisting of 13 people, was forced to leave our house, which was destroyed and burned in the city of Khan Yunis, to a safer place in the city of Rafah.

I am sending you my appeal, oh free people of the world and people of humanity, to help me save my future and save my family from this ongoing genocide that has caused us to lose many of our relatives and friends, as we suffer daily from the danger of being killed by bombing, or by a lack of food and water, and by infectious diseases for adults and children.

It has become known to everyone that the cost of coordinating the exit from Gaza to Egypt per person is $5,000.

I hope that you will help me collect the specified amount to achieve many goals, the most important of which is leaving Gaza to join my university and save my future from loss, and with me are my younger brothers, Haitham, who is 17 years old, and Abdullah, who is 16 years old, to save their academic future after the destruction of all schools and universities in Gaza, and then removing the rest. The family moved to the Republic of Egypt, starting with my elderly father, who suffers from some chronic diseases, and my mother as well, then my big brother Helmy, his wife, and his three children, Amber, who is 7 years old, and my sister Mai, and my brother’s wife (Hossam) and her one-and-a-half-year-old child, noting that my brother Hossam, who will be The person responsible for this campaign was in Turkey a few months before the war to import goods to Gaza in my father’s company, which collapsed and was destroyed due to the war after my father spent forty years establishing it. It is the only source that supports all members of the family. This war has led to a scarcity of foodstuffs and an increase in my insanity. In the prices of what is available, Gaza is now considered one of the most expensive places on earth, which led to spending all our saved money on purchasing available food and children’s supplies throughout the months of the war.
