Our dear friends the Fearons have recently gotten the devastating news that their beautiful daughter Saoirse has a rare form of childhood cancer.
Myself & Jan are running a 10k race on September 6th to raise funds to support their family through this difficult time.
Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated! You’ll find Saoirse’s story on Instagram at ‘saoirsesfight’ or please read Saoirse’s story below.
Our brave little girl, Saoirse, is fighting a rare and aggressive childhood cancer called Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC).
She was first diagnosed in September 2024, had surgery to remove a tumor in October, and made amazing progress for 9 months under surveillance. But in June 2025, we received devastating news: the tumor is back.
It’s now growing in a complex and dangerous area near her vena cava and behind her liver. Saoirse is currently undergoing 8 rounds of intensive chemotherapy to shrink the tumor, followed by major surgery, and then more chemo to ensure all cancer cells are gone.

How Your Donation Helps:
All funds raised will go directly toward supporting Saoirse and our family as we navigate this incredibly difficult journey, including:
Travel and accommodation costs for hospital stays and specialist appointments
Childcare and family support during treatment days
Therapies and recovery support (e.g., physiotherapy, play therapy, counselling)
Medical supplies and comfort items to make Saoirse’s chemo journey easier
And helping us take pressure off financially so we can focus on being fully present for Saoirse
Any funds not used directly will be donated to ACC research and childhood cancer support organisations to help other families going through this rare fight.

We are incredibly grateful for your support — whether you donate, share, or keep Saoirse in your thoughts.
Thank you for standing beside our little warrior.
With love,
Jonathan, Laura, Saoirse and Tadhg Fearon
