My name is Kahliah and I am a Dear friend and Colleague of Ms. Sanya Cross from Newark, NJ (Essex County). Sanya Cross is a loving mother of 2 children (Tia & Elijah) and a phenomenal grandmother to 3 Grandchildren (Tiana, Tiara, Kairo). Sanya is a dedicated Township of Irvington employee and has been for 20+ years. On May 14,2025 she suffered a stroke which changed her life forever.

Since then, she has struggled to get her life back on track. This caused an unforeseen physical, emotional, and financial burden.

We are asking for any support you can provide big or small whether it be a donation or sharing this fundraiser. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the following:

Sanya applied for NJ Short term Disability in June 2025 but has not received an update on her case as of October 1, 2025.

She does not expect an income until at least November 28,2025.

I hope to help her raise the funds as Sanya has always put others' needs before her own. Had this been any of us, she would not hesitate to help.
