Help Sanvi Get Back on the Field

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts, but also with hope, for the life of a remarkable 8-year-old girl named Sanvi. On a seemingly ordinary day, a sudden and terrifying event unfolded in Sanvi's life that turned her world upside down.

Sanvi, a vibrant and energetic child, was enjoying a beautiful day when she was struck by a severe and unexpected medical condition known as Myocarditis. Without warning, her heart's rhythm became dangerously irregular, and she was immediately rushed to the nearest emergency unit in South New Jersey. The doctors there quickly made a life-saving decision by sedating her and placing her on an external pacemaker. Recognizing the urgency of her case, Sanvi was then airlifted to the Delaware Children's Hospital and was admitted to ICU. After further investigation, a 3rd-degree heart block was identified in her AV node. She was treated in ICU for 5 days and is currently in the cardiac center in the same hospital for further treatment.

Since that critical moment, Sanvi has been on a rollercoaster of medical tests and procedures. Despite the tireless efforts of her medical team, the root cause of her Myocarditis remains a baffling mystery. This journey has been nothing short of traumatic for Sanvi and her family.

About Sanvi:

Sanvi is not just any 8-year-old; she is an extraordinary child with dreams and passions. She loves to play soccer, and her eyes light up whenever she's on the field. The thrill of the game, the camaraderie with her teammates, and the pure joy of scoring a goal or making a tackle are moments that mean the world to her. She idolizes Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Alex Morgan. She dreams of representing the USA national soccer team in the World Cup. Sanvi is also a trained Bharatnatyam (Indian Classical Dance) dancer. We believe that with the right support, Sanvi can overcome this ordeal and get back to doing what she loves most.
