Santis Leukemia Journey

Hi my names Beatriz and I’m Santis mom. On February 26th, our 3, now 4 year old was diagnosed with Leukemia. We’re a young family and financially we truly thought we would be able to handle the changes coming our way. My partner was the only one working at the time and is now unfortunately injured and won’t be working for the next few months if not more. We’re only half way through treatment and we hit the point that we know we’re drowning. We also know we need to be with our son and focus on our family as well as the other things that have been thrown our way. Donating will help our family stay at home together while I navigate my sons treatment and my partner focuses on healing and finding a steady job to keep us going. It would elevate a huge amount of stress for our family right now so we can focus on what matters. I myself haven’t been able to work due to my own medical reasons last year and now am my sons caregiver until treatment is over.

Santi is wise beyond his years and handling treatment like a champion and continues to show us that we can be brave and ask for help when we need it.
