Santiago’s ACL reconstruction surgery!

My name is Daynor Garcia, I'm Santiago coach and friend. I'm organizing this fundraiser for his upcoming ACL Surgery on July 7, 2022.

Santiago Rocha is a young independent adult who had planned to continue his academic and athletic career at VMI this fall. Santiago had everything ready to join the team in August, but unfortunately during a soccer game, he suffered a complete rupture of his left anterior cruciate ligament and complex tear in both meniscus. This was very devastating for him as he will no longer be able to attend VMI for his soccer scholarship that he obtained.

Luckily Santiago has health insurance through work to help cover part of the total cost for the procedure, although he still has to meet his high deductible. Not only does Santiago have to go through surgery, but he also has to attend many physical therapy sessions and miss time from work. Despite his young age, we know that Santiago relies on the income from his job to help pay for everything. Santiago has sacrificed so much for the sport, and we know how much it means to him. We hate to see him away from the field. Every donation is very much appreciated to help our parcero through this unprecedented times.
