Santiago Diaz-Cardenas Traggic Crash

It is with disbelief and grief to announce that Santiago Diaz-Cardenas passed away on Tuesday, August 18th at approximately 6:20am.
Santiago, 75, collided with a fuel truck near Two Rock northeast of Petaluma on his way to work. The left front side of Santiago's Ford Explorer truck, was stopped at a T-intersection on Pepper Road when he began turning left onto eastbound Bodega Avenue, directly in the path of the fuel tanker. The left front side of his Ford collided with the front right side of the fuel truck, sending the ford off the roadway and into a dirt embankment, when it overturned. Santiago, died from the impact of the crash.
He left behind his wife (Martha Coronel) daughter (Jocelin Coronel) his son (Santiago jr) his two granddaughters he adopted (Jumalay 10 yrs old and Namurashi 7 yrs old). The Diaz-Coronel family is coping with grief for the loss of their beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was a very hardworking man and worked as a vineyard worker and worked a second job as a truck driver to be able to sustain his family. As you can imagine, the financial burden will be very tough for his family since he was the main provider.

Es con incredulidad y agravio anunciar que Santiago Díaz-Cárdenas falleció el martes 18 de agosto aproximadamente a las 6:20 a.m.
Santiago, de 75 años, colisionó con un camión de combustible cerca de Two Rock al noreste de Petaluma en su camino al trabajo. El lado frontal izquierdo del camión Ford Explorer de Santiago se detuvo en una intersección en Pepper Road cuando comenzó a girar a la izquierda hacia la avenida Bodega hacia el este, directamente en el camino del camión cisterna de combustible. El lado frontal izquierdo de su Ford chocó con el lado derecho delantero del camión de combustible, enviando el vado fuera de la carretera y en un terraplén de tierra, cuando se volcó. Santiago, murió por el impacto del accidente.
Dejó atrás a su esposa (Martha Coronel) (Jocelin Coronel) (Santiago jr) a sus dos nietas que adoptó (Jumalay 10 años y Namurashi 7 años). La familia Díaz-Coronel está haciendo frente a la queja por la pérdida de su amado esposo, padre y abuelo. Era un hombre muy trabajador y trabajó como trabajador de viñedo y trabajó como camionero para poder mantener a su familia. Si se puede imaginar, la carga financiera será muy dura para su familia ya que tiene el proveedor principal.
