Santana Family Needs a Ride

33-year-old Andres suffered a stroke three years ago.  The stroke left him with severe physical disabilities, and bound him to a wheelchair.  Andres, his wife, and 4-year old son dream of Andres watching little Jaiden play baseball outside.  But, that is not possible because they do not have a vehicle that can transport Andres to Jaiden’s outdoor activities. They are in desperate need of a wheelchair accessible van.  Also, their home needs minor modifications for the wheelchair to ensure Andres can exit the home with ease in an emergent situation. Please help make this dream a reality for a most deserving family.
 
I have been a nurse for 37 years.  I have never been more moved by a patient and family in all those years.  They have suffered immensely, yet maintain a most positive attitude.  The love and commitment between Rosalba and Andres is deep and unwavering. Andres has progressed further than his doctors had hoped.  He works hard every day with his therapists to regain some of what he’s lost.
