Hello, my name is Sophie. I am a (closeted plural) transbian living in a red state in the deep south, in a verbally/psychologically abusive household that refuses to accept me as I am.

For several months now, through various means, I've been trying to raise funds and save up to escape this place and move in with my loving partner up north, but it hasn't gone anywhere meaningful. I don't make enough on commissions to get by, and as of writing, none of the jobs I've applied to have responded. Our progress is almost completely stagnant. What we're doing right now is not enough, and we can't do this alone.

So, I humbly come to ask for your help. Ideally, we would like to raise $7,500, but just $5,000 should cover the cost of everything we need (travel costs, vet visits, basic necessities, etc.) and get us out of here as soon as possible.

There is no deadline for the fundraiser, though I would like to be out of here by next summer.
