We are students at Santa Monica High, and like so many others we had to evacuate our home this week. Thanks to the kindness of friends, family, and community, and our parents, we have managed to stay safe.

This GoFundMe is not for us. We have felt firsthand the impact of others helping us, and we want to do the same for our neighbors in the Pacific Palisades who are in far greater need.

Santa Monica is right next door to the Palisades and we have a growing number of friends and family who have been displaced, had their homes damaged, or lost their entire homes, so picking just one family didn't feel like enough.

Funds will go towards helping students at Palisades High School, with the intention to direct funds to support student artistic and creative endeavors in the aftermath of this life altering tragedy, and channel energy towards renewal and enrichment. 

We’ll be sharing updates as your donations come in. No matter how small or big the donation, or even just sharing the post, your help will give those impacted an incredible boost.

We will also be adding names of fellow students and organizations who want to join this effort and help the most people possible. You do not have to be a Santa Monica student or local organization to join. The wider this goes the better. Thank you!
