Hi All -
Last year with your help, we were able to raise over $7000 for Santa Hipolita, thank you! This year, I am committing to raise $10,000 in order to help more children in need. I know this year has been challenging for all of us, the children who are helped through this foundation have struggled as well, but many without the basic resources that US children have access to. Most have needed to stop their studies due to not having access to a computer or an internet connection. The pandemic has forced them to stay in the orphanage full time, or with relatives having to share a computer or a cell phone to complete their studies online. Your contribution can help us purchase at least 20 computers to assist in this terrible situation. As orphaned children they already have so little, this pandemic has taken away a light in their lives, access to education.
As a reminder, my father in law James Taylor, Sr. started this foundation to help orphaned children in Mexico through education. He knew education was the path to a better future and change. Having been an orphan himself in the US, he personally understood their struggle. Please help me in raising funds for the "Fundacion Casa de Santa Hipolita", the foundation needs this goal raised by January 31th, 2021. Our children are the ones that hold the future in their hands, let's help them through education.
HiSTORY: This foundation was started by Mr. James Taylor and his wife Mrs. Haydee Taylor. He was American, and an orphan. He not only created the most beautiful family, but felt a strong need to help children like him, and the country that gave him the family life he always needed. To date Mr. Taylor has passed, but his legacy lives on with the hard work of his wife, and my husband's siblings. To date they have helped over 7000+ children in the country of Mexico!!
Fundación Casa de Santa Hipolita is a non-profit Mexican charity established in 1990, started with the mission of promoting the education of Mexican children who lack financial resources. The foundation began to work with a loan, and was able to survive thanks to the generosity of many private donors as a result of their direct mail campaigns - donors like you!

OBJECTIVE: To promote education of Mexican children who lack financial resources, and provide low-income children the opportunity to develop professionally through study, rescuing them from bad habits and crime.
The administrative expenses of the Fundación Casa de Santa Hipolita, have represented from 2.5 to 4% of the value of benefits delivered. According to studies published in the United States, organizations similar in size to them, reported spending almost 10 times higher. Their principal efforts are to support existing institutions which are dedicated to taking care of children. Currently they work with over 35 private Mexican institutions.
How will your funds help?
These funds will go directly to Fundación Casa de Santa Hipolita, and for this year's effort your funds will be used to purchase as many computers as possible. As such, they cannot afford school supplies, uniforms, shoes, school books, transportation cost, and many other basic needs they cannot cover on their own. The Foundation sponsor's children at the grammar, junior high school, and high school level. As well as, under-graduate studies level for both Associate and Bachelor degrees. We invite you to participate in this work, and the joy of giving to the less fortunate. Anything you can donate would be extremely helpful!!!
