This was my sister's home in the redwoods in the Boulder Creek, California before the Santa Cruz Wildfire.  Every weekend for 5 years they put work into  doing major reconstruction on bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and landscape.  Now the house and all their possessions are gone.


When the wildfire started their house was only 2 miles away from the fire.    Mandatory evacuation in their area started right away.  They only had time to put their pets and few valuables in their cars and get out.  Thankfully they got out with their lives and their pets.  

Right now they are living in their pop up camper in Half Moon Bay.  They are concerned that the camper will not be weather proof for the winter.  They would like to find a rental house while they find out what will happen with their property and whether they will rebuild.  Even if the do rebuild it will take years.  

This fund raiser is to help them with the funds they will need for a deposit, rent and some furnishings so that they can re-established.  

If you know my sister, Rose Garcia, you know she is one of the first people to try and help others.  Now she needs our help.
