Two months ago, we said goodbye to our amazing friend Elvis - a genius musician, extraordinary person with a gentle soul, loving father, and beloved brother and son. Born December 3, 1984, in Mantena, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Elvis performed with renowned bands since 1998, touring nationally and internationally. In 2021, he moved to the USA and became active in the Bay Area's Brazilian music scene, including Santa Cruz. Playing music was Elvis's life passion!

His unexpected passing has left a profound void in our hearts and community. Elvis touched countless lives in Santa Cruz as the talented bass player for beloved bands like Papiba and Friends, Sambada and Bagunça. His music brought joy to so many, and his warm spirit made everyone feel like family.

#A Journey Home#

After navigating through a long legal procedures with his family's consent, Elvis was cremated. We now have his ashes and are working to bring him home to his family in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil.

We're securing all necessary documentation for international for transporting cremated remains:

* Documents and Apostille International certification: $200-400$

* Brazilian consular approvals: TBD

* International shipping: $1,500-2,000

* Any funds beyond transportation costs will be donated to Elvis's family, especially his children.
