Please help! I never thought I would need to ask for money, however, my family and I need your help today! My dad, Joe Sansone, has been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer...and NO he never smoked...he did not bring this on himself. He served in the US Air Force for 30 years in many places including Vietnam. He also spent 14 years teaching Jr. ROTC where he was unfortunately exposed to black mold for several years. Now my Dad is fighting to beat the odds of lung cancer.
I need to bring my Mom and Dad to Los Angeles to live with me and my family. They currently live in Montana, nextdoor to my brother, who helps when he can. My Mom, who has been his primary caretaker, cannot continue to do it without significantly more help. She has had to help him to the bathroom, dress him, gives him his medicine, bathe him, feed him, and she has few options for help where they are now.
Iwill need to install a stair lift, as my home is multi-story and the main living is on the second floor. We will also need to pay for caregivers who can help during the day when I'm at work. In addition, some of his medical treatments are not covered by insurance and we have to pay for them out of pocket. These treatments can cost as much as $5000. Any help would be appreciated.
I If you know my Dad, Joe Sansone, you know he is a kind person. He is the type of person that is friendly to each and everyperson that he meets. He used to laugh and make us smile all the time. He is generous and really silly and fun. He'd always asks others how they are doing and genually cares about other people. My Dad, Joe loves his wife, his little dog Cocco and his sons and grandkids. He wants to be here to watch my kids grow up and I want my kids to remember him. If you know my dad you love him. If you have not met him he is one of the good people on this earth. Please give what you can. Daily his cost of medication and general needs runs anywhere from $200-$300 dollars. Please help my Dad fight this terrible disease. He is not ready to leave us, my Mom is not ready to lose the love of her life, and I am not ready to lose the most amazing father a child could have. I WOULD NOT ASK FOR MONEY IF IT WAS NOT NECESSARY. PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY, IT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED AND REALLY DIFFICULT TO ASK!
Much love and gratitude from me, Rob Sansone.
