Our Sweet and Strong Melissa….

 We love you. And we pray every day for a miracle because we know they are possible. At the same time, we are watching you struggle and wrestle with this monster that is ALS. Simple tasks - eating, drinking, talking, sleeping - have become more challenging for our girl.

 To all who are reading this, we need your help.

 Melissa now needs round the clock care, medication, supplements, equipment. The government will not give her Medicaid and her funds have been exhausted. Social security barely pays the bills for her boys. It’s unfair but the system is broken and everyone has done their best to no avail.

We don’t want her to have to worry for one second about money - we just want her to focus on Alex and Dom and herself.

 It breaks our hearts to write this as we don’t want it to seem like we have no hope. In fact, hope and faith and love are all we have. In the end, that’s what we hold on to and that’s what sustains Melissa. It’s all that remains.

 We need a miracle. Please pray for one with us.
